Although, it reminds me of this book by Sylvia Browne; Contacting Your Spirit Guide. It talks about Out-of-Body expierences, and talking to your Guide. There's even a meditive CD included to help you see your guide. The CD will even help you ease into the situation, and help you ask your guide questions. There is also a live recording of Sylvia Browne speaking with an audience on similar situations.

I accually had a dream the night before I started middle school in 6th grade. I dreampt of this boy, whom in which, looked uncanily similar to Harry Potter. [Sad, I know] And he was sitting at the foot of my bed to the right of me. Then he slowly walked on his hands and knees, like a cat, towards me. He towered on top of me, and was moving in to, what I still believe was, kiss me. [Maybe he wanted to tell me something, I don't know] But before anything happened, I awoke greatly scared. [Wouldn't you be if you thought someone you didn't know was in bed with you] Realizing it was only a dream, [Or nightmare] I fell back asleep and dreamed no more that night. The next day was the first day of school in my 6th year in school life. I went ahead to my class and waited for the bell. The bell rang at 8:00 AM sharp, and then the night before came back to me. There before me, walking towards the classroom, was the boy from my dreams. He ended up being in several of my classes, since then. That's probably why I fell for him too. But as my motto for old crushes goes, "'Tis not meant to be, 'Tis not meant for you and me."
