An artist Speaks Visually;
An artist speaks visually, through each concept jotted down as nothing more than an idea. Sometimes these ideas find themselves crinkled up and discarded as a small ball that missed the waste paper basket at the end of the artists desk.
An artist speaks visually, through chewed pencils, gray palms, littered sketch pads, and crumbled erasers.
An artist speaks visually, through the scuff marks on their pen tablets, the chewed end of the plastic, and the worn and wobbly USB connector on the back of their computer.
An artist speaks visually, through the desk draws littered with past-expelled mice, or trackballs they have collected thinking "Hey, they may still work".
An artist speaks visually, through paint blobs on their carpets, smears on their cheeks, and newspaper littering the floor.
An artist speaks through the initials carved into their tools, with a love for what they do, and pride in what they have achieved.
The artwork, of an artist, can often be misinterpreted. Often do we have to explain the emotions and feelings intended to be portrayed by our work.
In the end, It is the act of creating the art, that speaks most visually.
