Big head Challenge
It looks as though the 'Big head Challenge has been revived by a few people who have had the pleasure of seeing the latest addition to the collection,

What is the 'Big head challenge'?

A while ago, DA member
created this piece;

Which recieved some critisism in regards to whether or not it was actually pixeled, or CG'ed then color reduced to 256. To this day there is still speculation, and Pixel Joint refuses to accept the piece.

I decided to see how many colors I could cram into a big pixel head to see if I could re-create a similar image as a challenge, as well as proove that it is possible..

The result was this;

watched as I worked through the months of grueling work, and I inspired her to make this;

Who then recieved a Daily deviation on 2008-05-28 for her process clips ;

In the end, we inspired a slew of Big heads.

So theres no contest or actual point to this?

Nope. Its a challenge for YOU to challenge YOURSELF and a community that has a pointless rule of "Its pixel, your using too many colors!" .

Most of us who have put forth the effort to persist through this grueling and agonizing process, have completed it with a feeling of self acomplishment.

Whats the worst that can happen? You get a daily deviation? Pfft.. I think its worth the effort all and all. Even the frustraition.

Randomness

Wow.. has anyone ever heard the techno remix of the Rainbow Brite theme song? Holy crap o.O someone spent way too much time on that.

Id also like to add, Theme songs of the 80's are awesome... absolutely awesome.. So awesome, That Im gonna add the Duck Tales theme song to my - myspace.

[] Get body back, Wrestle in Jello.

[] Rock out in NY.
[] Hike the appalachian trail
[] Hike bear mountain (harriman state park and similar)
[] Hike black rock mountain again.
[] visit the hudson river again.
[] Rennaisance fair Tuxedo NY
[] Rennaisance fair MD.
[] Visit Rockland County and take Ky to the playground in stony point. Visit Stony point lighthouse.
[] Cornwall Hudson Highlands nature museum.
